CNBC recognises Temenos among leading fintech companies

Temenos has secured a place in CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies 2026, reinforcing its position as one of the banking technology sector’s leading enterprise fintech providers.

The annual list, developed by CNBC in collaboration with market research firm Statista, recognises the top 500 fintech companies globally across multiple industry segments. Temenos was selected in the Enterprise Fintech category after an assessment of approximately 3,500 companies based on publicly available information and company-submitted performance data from the past year.

Recognition highlights continued banking technology leadership

Takis Spiliopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Temenos, said the recognition reflects the company’s continued investment in banking technology innovation and its long-standing partnerships with financial institutions worldwide.

He said the award demonstrates Temenos’ commitment to helping banks modernise their technology environments, improve operational efficiency and accelerate business growth through flexible, cloud-native banking solutions.

Expanding cloud-native banking capabilities

Temenos provides core banking, digital banking and composable banking solutions that support financial institutions across retail, corporate and private banking.

Its platform enables banks to deploy technology on-premises, in private or public cloud environments, or as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), allowing institutions to modernise at their own pace while supporting evolving business and regulatory requirements.

According to the company, Temenos serves more than 950 core banking clients and over 600 digital banking clients worldwide.

Latest addition to a series of industry recognitions

The CNBC recognition follows several other recent industry awards for Temenos.

Earlier this year, the company was ranked as the best-selling provider across 15 categories in the IBS Intelligence Sales League Table 2026. It was also recognised as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Digital Banking Engagement Platforms, Q2 2026, highlighting its continued focus on digital banking innovation and customer engagement technologies.
