Beacon Bank Selects Narmi One to Launch New Digital Banking Platform

Beacon Bank is strengthening its digital banking capabilities following its recent merger by adopting a unified platform designed to support both retail and business customers. The move reflects a broader trend of banks modernising digital infrastructure to deliver seamless and scalable customer experiences.

Beacon Bank has chosen the Narmi One platform to support its new digital banking services for both retail and business customers.

The Boston-based bank was established in September 2025 after its parent company, Beacon Financial Corporation, merged several regional institutions — including Berkshire Bank, Brookline Bank, Bank Rhode Island, and PCSB Bank — into a single unified organization.

Following the consolidation, the newly branded bank now manages approximately $23.2 billion in assets and serves customers across the New England and New York regions. Beacon Bank offers a wide range of financial services, including cash management, asset-based lending, wealth management, and banking solutions for businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations.

Digital Banking Platform Powered by Narmi

To modernize its digital capabilities, Beacon Bank has implemented Narmi One, a platform developed by New York-based fintech company Narmi.

The platform brings together several Narmi solutions, including:

  • Narmi Grow for consumer account opening
  • Narmi Banking digital interfaces for both retail and business users
  • Narmi Guard fraud prevention and security tools
  • Narmi Command administrative tools for internal banking teams

Together, these technologies provide customers with an upgraded digital banking experience that includes modern account management tools, card controls, personal finance features, and real-time payment capabilities.

Building on a Long-Standing Partnership

The latest rollout builds on a partnership between Beacon and Narmi that dates back several years. The relationship originally began in 2019 when Berkshire Bank implemented Narmi’s consumer account opening technology.

By extending the collaboration across its newly merged banking platform, Beacon Bank aims to deliver a unified digital banking experience for its expanded customer base.

Narmi continues to strengthen its presence among financial institutions looking to upgrade their digital infrastructure, with several banks adopting the platform to support modern banking services and technology-driven customer experiences.
