Globant and Adyen Form Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Global Enterprise Payments

Globant and Adyen are formalising their partnership to help enterprises modernise payments and scale globally with less friction. By combining Adyen’s end-to-end payments platform with Globant’s integration and digital transformation expertise, the alliance targets one of the biggest barriers to growth—fragmented and legacy payment systems. The focus is on accelerating implementation, improving cross-border capabilities, and enabling faster revenue realisation. It reflects a broader shift toward unified, platform-driven payment ecosystems for global businesses.

The digital finance landscape is shifting toward more integrated and frictionless ecosystems as Globant, the NYSE-listed digital services leader, announces a formal strategic partnership with the global financial technology platform Adyen. This agreement marks a significant evolution from their previous project-by-project relationship. By establishing a structured framework for payment implementations, the two firms aim to help enterprise merchants in the retail, hospitality, and financial services sectors accelerate the transition from technical deployment to revenue generation.

For many large-scale businesses, the technical debt associated with fragmented payment systems often acts as a primary barrier to international growth. This partnership addresses these bottlenecks by combining Adyen’s robust global payments platform with Globant’s deep systems integration expertise. The collaboration is centred on the Financial Services AI Studio of the digital services firm, which uses industry-focused accelerators to help institutions modernise their digital capabilities and expand their cross-border commerce reach.

Nicolás Kaplun, the CEO of the Financial Services AI Studio at Globant, noted that many merchants struggle with delivery speed and the complexities of scaling their payment infrastructure. He explained that by combining their specialised expertise in digital transformation with a leading payments platform, they help clients navigate system modernisation with greater agility. This shared services model ensures that merchants can access continuous product upgrades and innovation without the friction typically associated with overhauling legacy financial systems.

The single-platform approach of Adyen, which covers the payment gateway, risk management, and acquiring, is designed to simplify the complexity of global expansion. However, implementing such sophisticated technology at the enterprise level requires significant technical oversight to ensure it integrates seamlessly with existing corporate software. Nadia Qureshi, the Vice President and Global Head of Commercial Partnerships at Adyen, highlighted that this partnership allows merchants to leverage a trusted integration partner to fully unlock the value of their technology and scale with confidence.

The existing footprints of both organisations in the enterprise space drove the formalisation of this alliance. Globant has a long history of managing complex digital ecosystems for major brands in media, sports, and entertainment. This alignment is tailored to organisations in which embedded financial services and scalable infrastructure are critical components of a long-term growth strategy. By moving toward a strategic alliance, both firms are now positioned to manage the entire payment journey lifecycle for a global merchant.

As businesses look beyond their domestic borders, the ability to maintain operational stability while modernising infrastructure is a major competitive advantage. This partnership provides the technical bridge necessary for firms to improve their transaction intelligence and provide secure commerce experiences worldwide. The collaboration represents a foundation of shared expertise aimed at redefining how large organisations handle the technical and regulatory challenges of the modern global economy.
