Atruvia Cuts Banking System Testing Cycles From Six Months to Days With Time Machine Deployment

Germany-based banking technology provider Atruvia AG has implemented virtual time-testing software from SolutionSoft Systems, Inc. to accelerate complex banking system simulations and automate time-sensitive testing across its large-scale infrastructure environment.

Atruvia, which serves the cooperative banking sector in Germany, operates one of the world’s largest Red Hat OpenShift environments, with more than 16,000 CPU cores and over 1,300 namespaces integrated with legacy mainframe systems, databases, and web services. The scale of the infrastructure made regression testing, integration testing, and year-end financial simulations increasingly difficult using traditional methods.

By deploying Solution-Soft’s Time Machine platform, Atruvia said it reduced testing cycles from approximately six months to just three to four days, while maintaining synchronization and operational stability across distributed systems.

The implementation allows Atruvia to create persistent virtual clocks that simulate specific dates and times without changing the actual system clock. This enables the bank technology provider to automate time-sensitive testing scenarios across containerized workloads and legacy banking infrastructure simultaneously.

The deployment also supports Atruvia’s broader DevSecOps and CI/CD strategy, allowing automated testing of date-dependent banking logic without disrupting production environments or other workloads running within the OpenShift cluster.

Atruvia used the Time Machine OpenShift Operator to simplify deployment and automate workload configuration, while the platform’s synchronization and licensing capabilities enabled scalable testing across dynamically created workloads and namespaces.

The solution is also being used to support complex financial simulations including year-end accounting processes and regulatory reporting scenarios, helping Atruvia improve operational resilience and reduce manual testing effort.
